Life-Like
*WEE-WOO-WEE-WOO*
Alarm rings! meaning new assignment.. oh how fun. Anyway, here’s the brief: your task is to design a mobile display-stand-and-work-space structure in a 2m X 2m X 2m space area in volume. The main intention is to explore ways of how an artist displays their art while public view the art being produced. (You are required to choose an artist from your site visit in Central Market + the Annexed.) The mobile display will depend on what is the art produced by the artist; whether it is a sculpture, a handicraft or a painting; one student is limited to one artist.
Here’s the really fun part: The project requires a 4-week of developments and a FULL-SCALE prototype. Each student are only allowed to a limited budget of RM10. TEN. Students are encourage to use recyclable materials to complete the project.
So, for the starting we went to Central Market to search for our artists. And i found him, Encik Baim. Painter. Potrait painter, the potraits he paints is so life like. like really life like.

The thing he drew can even eat, talk and.. well, there’s even a new term for it: seriously-very-life-like-…-wahlaueh. So, meet Encik Baim, a pro since 1988? Damn, he started painting when i was a sperm.

Come to think of it. Did he painted “Chucky”?

Look, its for sale. Wanna buy?
