Horse Sculpture – Part 2

Last friday was the prize giving ceremony for the Selangor Turf Club Design & Illustrate Horse Sculpture at the Times Square Hotel Manhattan Ballroom. It was actually the annual dinner for the equestrian club members and we were there to be part of the show.

The scene when the people start arriving was almost like the scenes from the TVB drama, Gem Of Life, where all the men were dressed in coats and tuxs while the women are dressed in their evening dress, not to mention their expensive jeweleries.

After the arrival of Dr. Mahathir, our ex-prime minister…

… there were performances but too bad for us, the guests seatings which where we were positioned does not have good feng shui, so we couldn’t see much except for the face of the composer and alot of musicians’ asses.

After having our scrumptious meal, it was time for us to be part of the show. So they announced, one by one.. 6th place, The One Academy, 5th place Malaysian Art Institute, 4th Saito, 3rd Sunway College and finally us the 1st runner up, UCSI (although they announced USCI instead).

The winners were from UTAR. Too bad we didn’t win but we still won the 2nd place, so i guess it is a good start for us. After that, there wasn’t anything else.. so we all went home and slept.

Wait, did i say we camwhored alot? (Damn, i wanted to camwhore with Dr. Mahathir too, but he left halfway through, sigh).
