Lily’s Grand 21

Last saturday was lily’s 21st birthday party and i became slave no.2 the photographer for the night.. damn it was tiring alright.

This sunday i will be shooting two myanmar couples wedding lagi.. die lo.. luckily for me, there will be like 4 photographers on the day including me.

Anyway, back to the topic, being the slave photographer, i went earlier that day at around 5 to take behind the scenes.. but i wasn’t the earliest.

Slave no.1 Jia Leng was there the day before to help out with preparations. Phew. My behind the scene pictures consisted mostly of one girl, and its not the birthday girl but a girl named Xuan Xuan, if that is how u spell her name.

Daaaamnn she’s cute. If you hadn’t know yet, she’s Lily’s niece and also Kelvin & Phoenix’s daughter. For architecture students, ya la, the senior Kelvin and Phoenix.

Aww.. she’s loved by many people. including me! Yes, i totally have a huge crush on her.

Oh my, we are heading off topic here. Back to the party, the theme this time was pink. Well, my shirt seems kinda purple thanks to Linxin.. your eyes ok ah Linxin? lol. Food was like CRAZY. They didn’t buy food, they bought the whole bloody Tesco to barbeque.

I don’t even know who took this pic, but thanks whoever it is since i forgot to take pics of the food. The whole tesco but still it wasn’t enough for them, they even prepared sushi, fried mihun, curry chicken, satay, ketupat and even jelly. WOAH, want to kill us meh. But hey, everything was good, no complains, even if there were, its better to keep it to ourselves as the birthday girl might kill us herself if the food didn’t do its job.

The number of people was like CRAZY too. Now imagine sixty people trying to barbeque food all at the same time. Oh man, it’s more like us being barbequed alive by the heat radiated out by our bodies. I think she wanted to invoke some “extreme intimacy” with the guests.

Then it’s time for the cake, oh the cake? You guessed it. It was CRAZY. It’s not even a “cake”. It’s a “CAMERON HIGHLAND”. Did you know there’s a giant that lives on Cameron Highlands?

Now you know.. After some water blowing session it was time for group photos. Group photos, were CRAZY. I had to use my wideangle to capture everybody’s face in it.

Due to the toxicity of the strawberries, the Chinese people there became abit CRAZY cause they started to feel the Deepavali spirit and it made them into talking in.. Indian accent and calling themselves Muthu. Them meaning us.

Damn it Russell. Look what u did to us. CRAZY MOFO!
