Din Tai Fung @ Pavilion
Yet another Din Tai Fung branch opening in Pavilion. The other one is located at The Gardens, Mid Valley. Since da bien ren is a fan of xiao long baos, we went there for dinner.
It is just next to Wong Kok in Pavilion, as you enter you’ll see all these chefs cooking in the “aquarium”, just to show you how good they are at making the xiao long baos and their la mian.
First up, xiao long baos, after tasting many xiao long baos from many restaurants, i must say Din Tai Fung makes the best xiao long baos yet. There’s six in a steam box plus the soup inside the xiao long baos is just superb.
For the main course, i ordered the braised beef la mian while da bian ren ordered the hot and sour soup la mian.
Her order came first and i thought it was really good, that was before my order came…
… the braised beef la mian was so good i had to even clean the bowl for them. Thank you da bian ren for the treat <3
